Actually, Lux's ultimate is a reference to a Japanese bullet-hell game series called 'Touhou'. It's a reference to the ultimate attack of a character called Marisa Kirisame, the 'Love-Coloured Master Spark'; a devastating laser that wipes out damn near everything on the screen! If you listen, Lux will occasionally refer to herself as an 'ordinary magician' too, another reference to Marisa.
There's numerous other references to the series in there too, such as the items Youmu's Ghostblade and Wriggle's Lantern. Youmu is a half-ghost swordswoman, who has an attack that moves her at 25% of the speed of light, for exactly 1/30th of a second, corresponding to the item's active. Wriggle, meanwhile, is a firefly youkai, who leads people astray and carries a lantern.
When you think about it, Touhou has more references than any other individual series! Someone at Riot REALLY loves those games and characters!
do you imagine if the summoner enter the battle for no reason and then the champions see one of them and confuse the summoner as the minions for the color of the robe??... i think that will be terrified to the summoners lol
